Anisotropic type magnets are also sintered permanent magnets composed of Strontium ferrite and are pressed in a magnetic field for a preferred direction. They have good magnetic properties only in this preferred direction and can be magnetized only in this direction. At the same magnetic volume, higher magnetic flux is obtained than Isotropic magnets. They also exist in two types (dry and wet type). A wet press magnets has the feature of a low recoil permeability, along with the high coercive force, makes them highly resistant to demagnetizing fields.
Since the magnetic characteristics of ferrite magnets are relatively not sensitive in changing thermal condition, adequate consideration should be made regarding the application purpose.
