Isotropic magnets are sintered permanent magnets (BaO or Sr O.6Fe2O3) composed of Barium ferrite of Strontium ferrite. This class of magnets aside from good resistance for demagnetization but has the popular advantage of low cost.
Due to their low cost, Isotropic magnets enjoy a very wide range of application, from motor dynamo, toys, novelty and are the most widely used permanent magnets today. These magnets could be magnetized in any directions because magnetic property is not directivity as state above.
